I was so excited to learn about Carnez. I was searching for a high quality butcher shop because my uncle, whose family owns a butcher shop in New York, was coming to town and I wanted to impress him with an authentic Argentine asado.My husband is an expert "asador" who loves grilling typical Argentine meats. However, he is very picky and looks for cuts of meat that he would find in his native country, Argentina. It's hard to find those cuts in a regular grocery store.Carnez definitely has all the cuts he needs for an authentic Argentine asado. My uncle was so impressed with the flap meat's tenderness and he loved the chorizo's flavor.He enjoyed the meat so much that he plans on placing an order! From now on, we will get our meat from Carnez! Oh, and the ground beef made the best empanadas! Love, love, love this place!

As an Argentinean this is by far once of the best meat I ever eat. If you want to impress your guest, purchase your meat to Carnez. The Outside skirt (entraña), the flap steak (vacio) and the picanha (picaña) are above and beyond.Totally recommended.
